Hi, I’m Jacqueline Taylor, I launched Taylor Made Beauty in June 2014 and it has grown and continues to grow. It was because of my love and passion of the beauty industry that I wanted to create a space for clients to relax and de-stress through treatments. I am a huge believer that beauty helps our well being and by making a small amount of time for treatments in our busy schedules I believe this is achievable.
My family and I moved to Poitou Charentes, South West France in 2013 and after a long and tedious search we found our perfect house. It’s a house that I wanted to work from and knew it had to be charming for clients as soon as they walked though the door.
Prior to our move I knew I wanted to change career and become a beautician with an emphasis on nails. I spent a year training in artificial nail extensions whereby I qualified under ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council). I then spent the following year qualifying again under ITEC in Manicure, Pedicure, Waxing and Make-Up. I wanted to qualify under that particular board as ITEC is one of the hardest examining boards to pass and the qualification was recognised and accepted in France. Naturally the Chambre de Métiers were happy to registered me as I met their expectation.
I pride myself on my nail expertise and although I am trained in artificial nails I am an advocate for natural nails and know that we can have beautiful strong nails by putting in a little effort and making some small lifestyle changes. I offer advice on how to care for your nails, protect them and repair damaged nails after years of wearing nail enhancements.
I am also reknown for my passion of skincare and make-up, your skin is a canvas and by following a good skincare routine it helps to create that perfect canvas. I love sharing my knowledge with you, that’s why I was so excited about creating this website. I want it to be source of information on what services I offer but also a place that you can visit to find out what’s new in the beauty world.
I take my personal continued development very seriously and I regularly attend, conferences and training courses to keep my skills fresh and to bring new services back to France. I will be sharing with you what’s new, on trend and anything beauty I learn about. Remember to add me to your website favourites and make sure you regularly check in with me to keep up to date.
